Hiring a DJ is possibly the most important decision to make when planning a special event. The entertainment you choose can make or break your party.

Imagine going to a party where everything was so nice but the music was terrible? It happens quite a bit! Unfortunately, some people tend to hire a DJ based solely on price. Granted, affordability should be a factor! Some people will spend large amounts of money on seat covers and ice sculptures and then hire the cheapest DJ around. At the end of the night, they regret the decision. Sure, everything looked great but everyone had a lousy time because the DJ was terrible! I take pride in knowing that I am affordable and I’m quite capable of providing a good time!

I’ve been in business for over 28 years. The reason for my longevity is simple: I am honest, fair and reliable and I do my best to put out a good product every time. I know most people aren’t rich; I’m not. I want to give people a good product at a reasonable rate. The majority of my business comes from referrals from my friends and family members. I want to make these people glad that they passed my name around. If I charge too much money or fail to produce satisfaction, how quickly do you think those referrals will end? My rates are not the cheapest and they are certainly not the most expensive. In the Greater New Bedford area, DJ’s are charging anywhere from $250 to $1500, depending on the event, as well as the ego of the DJ. My rates run from $350 to $800, depending on the event, location, date and number of hours. Also, when you hire me, I show up, on time. I don’t send another DJ. I never double-book and will not take a better paying job when one comes along.

Also, when I give you a price quote, it includes everything: Pre-event planning, DJ, MC, dinner and cocktail music, party time, etc. I can’t imagine what some other DJ’s are thinking when they offer their service and then charge extra for being the Master of Ceremonies or for the use of a wireless microphone. Are you kidding? I thought that is what we are hired for?
